Code Geass R2 Turn 14 Rant & Review

Is it possible to love Suzaku but wanting to torture him until he can no longer speak at the same time?

I’m at loss for words, and I can’t even comment properly on the sudden battle between Lulu plus some random OotBK members against the Geass Cult.

I mean…

HOW DARE SUZAKU FEEDS SOME BULLSHITS TO KALLEN THAT THE ONE WHO KILLED SHIRLEY WAS LELOUCH?!!

And get that refrain out of the way, you sneaky little @$#%TWAsdadr@#*!

Small conclusions/impressions:

• Rolo admitted to killing Shirley… Brave, kid. Really brave, or maybe I should say ‘thoughtless’ instead?
• I have to give Lulu lots of credits for managing to appear calm after Shirley’s death, unlike the mess Suzaku seemed to put himself in after Euphie died.
• When did Lulu actually have the set installed in front of the entrance? Even I thought he was still in Ashford O_o
• Is Suzaku completely evil, or is he completely desperate to go against Lulu? I love him and all, but for him to persuade Kallen this way… Feeding Kallen the bullshit that Lulu killed Shirley is one thing, but to drug her with refrain is another… WTF Suzaku?!!!
• I think we were wrong when we thought VV expected Jeremiah to go against him. Apparently, he was shocked to find Lelouch at the other end of the line when the call connected. And if his “Jeremiah, even you too…!!” means anything, then he really didn’t expect this.
• Took VV a while to notice the one in Vincent was Rolo.
• Charles’ “My son Lelouch! The time has come!’ comment now convinced me that the stage for the finale had been planned all along… Ugh.
• The little kids with Geass ability that we saw in the scans before is <3 They called Rolo ‘Rolo-oniichan’~ Now I really don’t want Rolo to die, though Lulu was ready to detonate Vincent in order to trap/kill VV. Too bad Rolo killed the kids~
• LOL at Toudou and Chiba in the bedroom ~__~
• CC’s apology to the cult members before destroying them, saying they were all in the mess now because of her ’sin’. Needs Turn 15 now!
• VV, with his hair in a mess, looks so much like Clovis.
• Bartley x Clovis should be made canon (j/k!)

Takes a deep breath to calm down…

Uhm… Alright. So, at the start… VV was told that Jeremiah was on the other end of the line, so he simply accepted the connection. But he was greeted with Lelouch instead. Yup, it seemed like Lelouch was in his room back @ Ashford Academy, but that’s just a cover. He was actually right at the entrance of the Geass Cult. I don’t know when he actually made such awesome set for his acting stage, but that’s an undoubtedly awesome set. It looks exactly like his bedroom.

And the invasion was on, with CC leading the army.

Character Death! Well, some others died too, but this one actually had a name, so… While angsting over the fact they they still couldn’t find Cornelia anywhere, Bartley was shot. CC recognised him as the one with Clovis back then. Ah, so, Bartley died. And at least he realised something important about what’s going on behind the Emperor before he died.

Members of the OoBK was a little bit confused about the whole thing, wondering what the heck was Britannia doing with the place (anyone would wonder, really). And we got to see some little kids with Geass too. One of them Geassed an OoBK member to attack another member, but was stopped by Rolo’s Geass.

Those kids were really cute too. When they noticed the Geass, they immediately recognised the person inside the Knightmare (Vincent, of course) as their ‘Rolo-oniichan’. Oh dear, now I really don’t want Rolo to die…

CC was recognised by everybody in the cult. ‘CC-sama!’, they called her. I guess I really need more of the story now!

If I had some kind of theory of VV using Rolo and Jeremiah as baits before, or that he knew they’d go against him and planned something for them, it seems I was greatly mistaken. He obviously didn’t expect Jeremiah to betray him, and it took him a while to realise that the one piloting Vincent was Rolo.

It really was Kallen in that fancy dress talking to Nunnally. I thought she was under some light in the preview, but it was actually something like a glass cage. She finally learned of the fact that Nunnally was a princess all along, and well, she now knew that Lelouch was obviously a prince. It was sweet, when she asked Nunnally what kind of brother Lelouch was to her. And Nunnally said she couldn’t have been happier to have someone like him.

Darling Suzaku just had to interrupt their conversation. And then proceeded to feed the idiotic lie that we all know is absolutely false.

NOW I KNOW WHY GUREN HAD THAT SAME WING-THINGIE WITH LANCELOT!! Float system, whatever…

Lancelot, you’re really committing adultery, aren’t you?!!!

Sorry. I got carried away for a moment…

VV in the end got cornered by attacks by Jeremiah, Rolo and Lulu. And Cornelia made her grand appearance, shooting VV at the same time as Lelouch to bring the man down. Hrm… I don’t want to rant about that, but VV managed to escape, albeit badly hurt, and saw the door to be open slightly.

I think I’m now thoroughly confused at his conversation with Charles. Lies? What lies are you talking about??

And when Lelouch found VV, he was transported to where Charles was waiting - at the Sword of Akasha that started this whole ordeal. Lelouch was really frustrated when he got transported, recalling the same thing happening in Kaminejima Island (season 1).

“MY SON LELOUCH! THE TIME FOR ATONEMENT HAS COME!”

. . . . I went O_o

The whole thing, it seems, is really like one big setup planned all along.

Now I need Turn 15! *sigh*

Anyways… gotta love Lelouch in the Newtype Romance cover! He looks so yummy
