Who Are You?
Me? I’m Adlina, a 2nd year student of the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Majoring in TESOL (Teaching of English as a Second Language). Studying Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, Research Writing, Phonology, Linguistics, etc etc. Currently learning Japanese Grammar. Is going to take Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2 (my God, those Kanji characters are killing me. Like seriously T_T). Aiming for a second degree (after completing TESOL) in either Linguistics, Psychology or Japanese language. Depends. But first, let me get through my first degree first

What is Junjou.info?
Junjou.info is where I blog about my favourite anime, manga, manhwa and other Japanese and Korean related obsession. Posts may be about new music that I like, anime and manga reviews, my musing about new manga/manhwa/releases, scanlations, etc etc. Let’s just say that Junjou.info is my domain focusing on anything Japanese and Korean.
What does ‘Junjou’ mean?
Junjou is Japanese for ‘Pure Heart‘. It can also mean ‘naivety’ in another context.
I was inspired by one of my favourite yaoi mangas- Junjou Romantica by Nakamura Shungiku-sensei.
What can I find in Junjou.info?
Well, depends on my mood. For scanlations, I will either upload the scans to my server or simply point you to the scanlators’ site for download links (depending on their download policy). The same goes for direct movies download. When I feel like it, I will either upload the episodes to my server of hosts such as Megaupload, Sendspace, Mediafire, Rapidshare or USAupload.
Licensed Manga?
I know some people might go ‘You’re distributing licensed stuff!’ when they see this site, but hey… You have to know the law pretty intimately to press charges or anything against me.
First of all, all of the manga or anime that you claim have been licensed, are not and will never be licensed in my country. I repeat, those manga/anime that I uploaded WILL NEVER BE LICENSED IN MY COUNTRY. The license only extends as far as the country where a material is licensed.
Secondly, do you know how hard it is to acquire those stuff? I can’t even order them online and get them shipped to my house because the customs would surely block them. If I could, I would have ordered all those yaoi mangas that I love so much. I love to keep stuff as part of my collections too, you know. If I live in the country where the law isn’t so uptight, I would have bought them all the moment they are released. *sigh*
So to those who complain, put yourselves in my shoes for once. I still buy what I can, though.
Can I join Junjou.info as a contributing author?
E-mail me, and then we can talk

How often will you update?
As often as I feel like it.
Any warnings I should heed?
Well, of course. I’ll make it clear that one of my biggest obsession is yaoi and shounen-ai. If you don’t like those genres, simply ignore my posts. Don’t worry, I’ll always put yaoi/shounen-ai related posts under cuts.
I like Junjou.info! Is there anything I can do to help?
Yes, please. You can help me keep the site alive by donating a few bucks OR simply visit our sponsors.

This might sounds creppy but I’ve been wondering who you are and if you’re actually in my japanese class. Gosh, that sounds so stalker-ish. XD I hope you don’t get too freaked out. You see,I’m taking Japanese course at UoA as well. Anyway, this is such a fun blog to read. I’m a fan already. ^^

omg, it’s so freaky seeing that you’re in NZ XD. I live in Auckland too (I wanna go to Auckland Uni year after next, unless… PLZ let Massey not have a more comprehensive humanities department!) and I completely feel so sad about the availability of stuff here, I mean REALLY -_-. I had no idea about customs being strict, I figured I’d be able to order stuff if I ever got a credit card D: If it weren’t for the internet I would have never read/watched anything that I love now, so thank you, and people like you, for helping the isolated and the fannish…. or something.
(Now I’m just gonna go read Download Rules and see if I can get my hands on Junjou manga *total noob* *bumbles*)

So I’m very glad to found this site, not to forget all these doujinshis. Your uni sure is great to have a very thorough Japanese course coz my uni only stop at level 3 of JLPT if I’m not mistaken.

Just happened to stumble on to ur fantastic site while searching for Junjou Romantica, and i just wanna say “Great Work”, and im really really grateful for doing this!!! *kow tow-ing to ground*
The raw mangas of Junjou are really very much appreciated cuz i cant read Japanese, so i can only wait for English translated versions, so its been a really long wait (not to mention frustrating)!!!
Once again thanks for all this, im putting ur site on my IE favourites check daily!!!

I already must have thanked you for the soft subs for Junjou episode 2, but I just saw the discussions about translations here and in Aarin forums. So I’ll thank you again for doing your subs, and I really hope you keep on doing them as much as you want or feel like doing. As you said, sometimes it’s difficult for me to understand english slangs (and I do try my best to keep on learning, my friends even ask me sometimes about their general english doubts), so I really apreciate when there’s more than one fansub available. ^^
Thanks also for the Junjou songs translations and romanizations. I ended up romanizing Kimi Hana myself, but it was only usefull for me to sing it. XD I posted what I did on Aarin, and posted the corrections from another kind person who contacted me privately, but I’d just like to inform you that I’m linking to your romanizations too. Because the more options, the merrier.
And you have translations. XD

I really really really wish I spoke fluent Japanese. D:
I study real hard but for now; I can only read hiragana&katakana and can only speak basic sentences xD
I want to watch the RAW episodes so I don’t have to wait 908453 years like I do to get the episodes subbed xD *Sob*
Anyways; Thank you very very much for the uploads<3

I was just wondering what your policy was on your raws? would you be against the idea of a group using them for scanlations?

Hi,
Thanks for scanning and uploading the JR raws + amine.
Australia is as isolated as NZ for BL manga i.e non existent.
Please email me if you would like a hand in cleaning and editing raws. Cant help with translations … Sign! wanted to learn Japanese, but parents force me to do French. Now I know none lol.
Thanks for all you hard work!!!!
