Yawns… I’m feeling extremely sleepy for God knows why. I thought I already had enough rest these past few days, but apparently my body is trying to catch up to all the rest that I lost during the hectic months I was tortured by streams after streams of assignments and courseworks. That aside, time for episode 4! And Junjou Egoist :3

Bittersweet fluffy angst is how I’ve been describing JE, and this episode is no exception. Nowaki just doesn’t realise that by calling Hiroki ‘Hiro-san’, he’s on a whole different level compared to everyone else. It doesn’t matter if it sounds less romantic, but hey, you’re special~ And I bet Hiroki would be 100% more flustered if you were to call him just ‘Hiroki’. For me, it would bring your cuteness down a few notch (don’t ask me why).

Eh… Why the heck was I addressing Nowaki when I type O_o?

Anyways, Nowaki’s wild imagination is fully animated, and it KILLED me with serious bouts of laughter.

Junjou Egoist and the classic of classics ‘catch me if you can’ + ‘ahahahahaha~’ scene. (Now I can never listen to Abarai Renji’s voice the same way again *__*)

Er, ahem… I don’t blame Nowaki for feeling insecure every once in a while. He’s so quiet it probably hurt sometimes. It’s only a little bit funny that Junjou Egoist walks on the longest timeline but takes longer to untangle. Guh, egoists… The end scene below is supposed to be sweet/romantic, but I seriously LOLed into my pillow.

It’s been a month since the last part… Zerozaku and Luluko angst would be so awesome. If you haven’t watched this, go find it because it’s really amusing, though they could have tweaked FukuJun’s Lulu!voice to sound a like a girl’s like FukuJun’s Okane ga Nai’s Ayase at least a little bit.

I waited for this to be anime-fied XD I figured I should write about this before I go and prepare myself for today’s presentation (and one linguistic assignment ;_;). I’d forget otherwise. I really like the episode titles starting from the first episode. They’re so interconnected in a good way, or a bad way if you happen to be Misaki. What happens once will happen twice, followed by never twice without thrice and now the third time’s the charm.

Misaki tried to contact Haruhiko about the mountain of strawberry thingies, and couldn’t get through. Usagi being Usagi, simply refused to cooperate and tell him how to reach Haruhiko.

Senpai makes his appearance again, with a premonition of something definitely not so nice when he said, “You think that I actually like Usami-sensei?”

“The one I like is Misaki”

Quit it, Senpai. We all know what is actually going on in your head and we’re not amused.

Haruhiko practically kidnapped Misaki right after class just when Misaki was grumbling to himself… “And the problem is…”. Perfect timing indeed. The good thing about the whole kidnapping thing is that we get to hear about Usagi’s lonely childhood. How indeed did he grow up with that foul mouth O_o

Eh, actually what I was waiting for is the part where Misaki saw the maids and the butler of the Usami mansion, and went “Is this really Japan?!” when he tried to get out of Usagi’s old room.

And yay for possessive Usagi :3 Sibling rivalry over the same guy is just hillarious, both of you. I only wish there’d be some sort of brotherly interaction between them that can be interpreted as ’secretly hidden care’ or someting instead of just plain “I don’t like you” or “Get out of my business”. Maybe I just love siblings who are at each other’s neck while they actually care about each other DEEP down, though they may be in denial about it.

We now have everyone ALL over Misaki. It brings me to a rather cute question about Misaki’s manliness (or the lack of it).

What happens twice is likely to happen thrice, just like the saying “Never Twice WIthout Thrice”. Misaki’s bad luck just keep coming. And in the anime verse, we’re just about to see how far his Usamimone (Usami + Pheromone) would bring him. As much as I’d like to watch Egoist right now, I want more of Romantica’s story, not because they’re the main focus but because of the Usami-family conflict. No, I’m totally not biased towards Haruhiko’s seiyuu XD

This episode is where Usagi-san starts hinting at Misaki about how Misaki haven’t yet tell him he loves him (too many him confuses me).

“I haven’t gotten an ‘I like you’ from you yet”

I’m so waiting for Misaki’s nonchalant confession in the ferris wheel, and his possesive “Usagi-san is MINE” towards his senpai.

Asahina is at least 10 times more charming in the anime than he is in the manga!

Apologising on Isaka’s behalf, as per usual. I swear, Shungiku-sensei, I’m seeing a pattern here. Something like Asahina’s one-sided love for Isaka… Isaka’s long time one-sided love for Haruhiko… Geh. Give us a side story already. Hehe…

And we come back to the main point of the title: the premonition of Misaki’s bad luck with the Usamis. Haruhiko has now made his moves on Misaki. His way of showing affection is to shower his object of affection with materials (guh, rich bastard!), hence the mountains of strawberry-related items sent Misaki’s way at the end of the episode. All just because Misaki said he likes strawberry, though at that point Misaki only meant the strawberry cake, I’m sure.

Favourite scene, not counting the smex part:

“I think I’m going to steal you away from Akihiko
I like you”

Hard to believe that they’re half brothers, with that same look and same tone and manner of speaking. He even sounds cooly romantic. The wonderful power of seiyuus…

Code Geass R2 Turn 14 Rant & Review

Is it possible to love Suzaku but wanting to torture him until he can no longer speak at the same time?

I’m at loss for words, and I can’t even comment properly on the sudden battle between Lulu plus some random OotBK members against the Geass Cult.

I mean…

HOW DARE SUZAKU FEEDS SOME BULLSHITS TO KALLEN THAT THE ONE WHO KILLED SHIRLEY WAS LELOUCH?!!

And get that refrain out of the way, you sneaky little @$#%TWAsdadr@#*!

Small conclusions/impressions:

• Rolo admitted to killing Shirley… Brave, kid. Really brave, or maybe I should say ‘thoughtless’ instead?
• I have to give Lulu lots of credits for managing to appear calm after Shirley’s death, unlike the mess Suzaku seemed to put himself in after Euphie died.
• When did Lulu actually have the set installed in front of the entrance? Even I thought he was still in Ashford O_o
• Is Suzaku completely evil, or is he completely desperate to go against Lulu? I love him and all, but for him to persuade Kallen this way… Feeding Kallen the bullshit that Lulu killed Shirley is one thing, but to drug her with refrain is another… WTF Suzaku?!!!
• I think we were wrong when we thought VV expected Jeremiah to go against him. Apparently, he was shocked to find Lelouch at the other end of the line when the call connected. And if his “Jeremiah, even you too…!!” means anything, then he really didn’t expect this.
• Took VV a while to notice the one in Vincent was Rolo.
• Charles’ “My son Lelouch! The time has come!’ comment now convinced me that the stage for the finale had been planned all along… Ugh.
• The little kids with Geass ability that we saw in the scans before is <3 They called Rolo ‘Rolo-oniichan’~ Now I really don’t want Rolo to die, though Lulu was ready to detonate Vincent in order to trap/kill VV. Too bad Rolo killed the kids~
• LOL at Toudou and Chiba in the bedroom ~__~
• CC’s apology to the cult members before destroying them, saying they were all in the mess now because of her ’sin’. Needs Turn 15 now!
• VV, with his hair in a mess, looks so much like Clovis.
• Bartley x Clovis should be made canon (j/k!)

Takes a deep breath to calm down…

Code Geass R2 Turn 14 Extended Preview

I’m nursing my broken heart caused by the absence of Junjou Romantica with my other obsessions alongside some Junjou project I’m currently planning. I guess I’ll be stuck with angsting about CG until Sunrise fix the drama good. The preview kind of broke my heart with Lelouch’s monologue T__T

That better not be Kallen under the light, the one whom Nunnally was speaking to. I kind of recognise that dress from some scans I saw previously… But then, what the heck was she doing there in the first place?

Doesn’t V.V look more psychotic now? I always wonder what Charles and him had under their sleeves. Or more precisely, what V.V himself was planning when Charles wasn’t around. That, or I might have been reading too much into the plot when V.V obviously gets more screentime than Charles.

Code Geass R2 Turn 13 Rant & Review

As soon as this episode finished airing, I was left with my chopstick slacken in my hand, and tears in my eyes and mixed feelings. At the beginning, my internet connection was being so stupid that I felt so frustrated because I’ve been looking forward to this episode.

It started off with Shirley’s dream. The mask we see in the preview of the previous episode was a part of Shirley’s mind. She was getting paranoid with the rush of her returned memories. Shirley was so confused that she didn’t trust anyone. But she did remember the fact that Lelouch was indeed Zero who caused the death of her late father.

And then we were presented with Jeremiah killing off the Intelligence team stationed at Ashford in his search for Lelouch. Viletta and Rolo were alerted of his presence. Jeremiah found Sayoko, who flat out refused to tell him where Lelouch was. She would protect her Lelouch-sama, and got into a duel with Jeremiah.

Rolo tried to stop them, activating his Geass on Jeremiah to allow Sayoko to finish him off. However, Jeremiah got the better of Sayoko and stabbed her. At this point, Miracchin and I was like “Noooo! Don’t die Sayoko!!” because we really don’t want her dead! With Sayoko fallen, Rolo was left alone to deal with Jeremiah. He tried to Geass Jeremiah again, but Jeremiah’s Geass Canceler cancelled his Geass.

It’s inevitable that Akihito would snap sooner or later, but I didn’t expect him to snap in THIS fashion in the ACTUAL plot. Has Yamane-sensei been reading fanfictions lately? XD

Dramatic Akihito is so much lurve! While this new chapter lacks the hot smexiness yet again, we get to see Akihito’s self-loving in the bathroom while, of course, thinking about Asami.

Okay, I’ll stop leaving plotholes here and there and get on with the summary and review.

Don’t you think that the opening phrase sound so… sappy? It’s turning sappier than I thought it would, but that only makes me love it even more. I can’t believe it’s been more than two years since I last got hooked by the awesomeness of this series. Anyways, we now have a clue!

Can I take this line to mean that Viewfinder is reaching it’s end? I’d be sad to say goodbye to the series, but I also want it to end soon. All the suspense is bad for my mental health, anyway.

Akihito has every right to retaliate at what Yuri tried to do to him. While I want to know what grudge Yuri bore towards Asami, I also don’t want him to live long after beating Akihito to pulp. And it wasn’t Akihito’s fault that Yuri denied his gay side, not Akihito’s fault that Yuri was attracted to him. And hey, it’s a stupid reason to kill a guy just because you thought he seduced you.

For the account, Akihito would NEVER ever seduce you, Yuri. Heck, he never even seduced anyone. They just kept getting attracted to him. The big names in the darker part of the society too. Hmm…

It’s refreshing to know that Fei Long was thinking about Akihito’s wellbeing. I just love the guy. Since Asami obviously isn’t going to die (because “I’m the main character” rules apply), Akihito would of course belong to Asami again in the end. But well, there’s still fandom. My OTP is still AsamiAkihito, but FelongAkihito is my guilty pleasure (much like how GinoLelouch is my newest guilty pleasure for Code Geass).

Now for the biggest news…

VIEWFINDER ANIME

Yes people! This hawt series is finally going to be made into animeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! OMG(x1000000) According to the two-page inserts (one page announcing the wonderful news and another page an interview with the producer), “The overwhelmingly famous series serialised in Gold, ‘Finder no Hyouteki” is finally decided to be made into an anime”. It’s going to be done by Animix.

Oh what I wouldn’t give for this to become OVA (because the yuminess would be lost if it becomes an anime…). Spread the love, fellow Viewfinder fans~

Code Geass R2 Turn 12 - “Love Attack!”

So, the show ended 30 minutes ago. Since I’ll be watching some anime shows right when it airs, I’ll make a habit of reviewing or blogging about them as soon as I’m done watching from now onwards. Aaaannndd…. SPOILER ALERT!!!!

TURN 12 THOUGHTS & OVERVIEW
Despite the fact that I only got to watch half of this episode (due to some stupid broadcasting failure), I’m still left with a very dazed expression after the preview for the next Turn.

It’s Milly’s graduation event (卒業イベント） and she proposed the Cupid’s Day (キューピットの日）to celebrate.

Yes, Sayoko as Lelouch gave Milly an impression that the guy had been hiding some kind of physical prowess under his bikini/speedo sleeves. All the acrobatic moves… Oh dear. I’m kind of glad that Suzaku wasn’t there when Sayoko pulled all that stunt. Sayoko also blissfully destroyed Lelouch’s straightness further in this Turn. Sidetracked by sexy girls and ignoring them completely - normal people would think that Lelouch is obviously not straight XD

My darling Gino was surrounded by chirpy girls who hoped to get a piece of the Knight of Three.

And Anya…. OMBFG Anya… She freaking unleashed Mordred upon the school to search for Lelouch. I was like WTF girl! Don’t bring that killing machine into school grounds. Suzaku’s shock at being informed of Mordred’s appearance at Ashford was justified, because I would have been shocked too. Seriously! You’d normally only use that thing in combat or practice. Anybody would think that the school was under Order of the Black Knights’ attack or something. It happened before, after all.

It’s even funnier that Suzaku and Guilford actually made a mad dash, I mean, flew in their Knightmares to inspect the commotion only to find out that it’s Milly’s graduation ceremony.

The Ceremony (Cupid’s Day)
… ended very sweetly. Rivalz was a bit down, muffling “Are you really graduating, President?”. It made him look cute, really~ And while I don’t like Shirley all that much, it was sweet the way she thanked Milly for “everything”. And Suzaku even got out of Lancelot to congratulate her (he was too much in a rush that he was still wearing his Rounds uniform, sans the cape).

Milly ended up delivering weather casts on TV! I like her new hairstyle. She’s one of the female characters that I actually like in animes (along Kallen and a few others).

The Suspense
Orenji-kun appeared! His freaky orange (why the colour, Jeremiah?) Phantom-of-the-Opera-esque mask is like Zero’s. It opened up at the eyes, conveniently made so he could cast his Geass. I don’t know how far does the range of his Geass extend to, but it must have been pretty awesome (until I see the preview for next week).

Shirley, for the (insert numbers bigger than 2 here) time, got Geassed AGAIN. This time by Jeremiah. And the suspense? She remembered all the stuff she forgot:

“I remember… My father was killed by Zero… Lelouch.”

Enter the ending credits. Woe…　I went “CRAAAPP!!!!” at the last part. And to add to the cliche and dramatic-ness of the scene, it was raining. (Season 1, rain, soaked Shirley - ring a bell?)

The Confusion
When Anya was looking for Lelouch in her Mordred, she almost crashed into the library when she sensed him there. And I know it wasn’t my imagination when she said “There’s two Lelouch…?” in her usual monotonous way of speaking. Surely she would not be stupid enough to believe in somebody else’s craps that it’s just a part of a plan?

Thoughts on the Preview of Turn 13
Suzaku and Lelouch, along with Shirley (who called Suzaku in the first place) went out together. And hey, Suzaku and Lelouch were wearing the exact same clothes they wore in the first season. Red versus blue. Suzaku still had the sunglasses too. With Shirley walking in front, I’d say the two of them looked like they were on a date Sorry, yaoi fangirlism got the better of me ~_~

Jeremiah, it seems, will lose to Lelouch YET again. Oh Orenji-kun, when will you learn? Will you ever learn, by the way? That guy is the main character, for idiot’s sake. Don’t think you’ll get the better of him anytime soon. Gimme the Jeremiah Gottwald who adored his Lelouch-sama and Nunnally-sama back!! And gimme back my Suzaku who loved Lelouch as his darling friend!!

It’s only been 30 minutes after Turn 12 ended, and already I can’t wait for Turn 13 to air next week! Aahh~ I’ll update this post with screencaps and (hopefully) direct download links later Need to continue moving files @_@
