I figure it’s impossible to get it, but hey, it’s worth trying. Eh… I really really should study seriously for finals DX Before that, I’d just like to share this doujinshi panel I translated. Gundam 00 x Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei for the win :3

This is a parody on the fact that Tieria’s seiyuu and Itoshiki-sensei’s is the same person. Gakuen Heaven’s Saionji too, but that’s another story. I’m in need for cracks. All the angst is keeping my brain sluggish. Guh…

Sugar Drop 7 - Lancelot no Yousei-san (Finally!)

I’ve been hitting F5 on Mandarake and JPQueen every few hours for weeks after the 13/10 SuzaLulu event, and now I’m hitting F5 more often after comic city. I’m only waiting for CM + PA’s new releases. Since the last volume of Sugar Drop - Lancelot’s Fairy godmother (Lancelot no Yousei-san), the sixth volume, I was impatient for the seventh.

Finally after the refreshing and angsting, they stocked it up and I promptly hit ORDER NOW. Took them long enough D:<

Seriously, I’m hoping for the doujinshi series to end already. Suzaku is getting too emotionally frustrated at Lelouch’s total obliviousness. In the last volume, he was thinking of how wonderful it would be if he’s not human… and Rivalz thought the depressed-looking guy was contemplating some kind of suicide plan.

For those unfamiliar with the doujin series, Sugar Drop: Lancelot no Yousei-san is CM + PA’s really really cute and funny AU (kind of) Code Geass doujinshi revolving around Suzaku and his (should be Lancelot’s, actually, but well…) fairy, Lelouch. As a fairy prince, Lelouch oversees the development of new generation of Knightmare frames by assisting chosen devicers. The previous devicer was an unknown girl, and Suzaku was chosen personally by Lelouch. In this universe, they aren’t childhood friends, but the bit sized fairy Lelouch is still a prince AND Zero, though it wasn’t revealed what Zero was actually doing in Japan.

Back to the topic at hand… I was excited about the seventh volume because unlike the previous ones, this volume actually has 52 pages. The previous volumes all have 32 pages (as are the Tsundere Ouji to Tennen Knight volumes). The extra 20 pages makes me giddy, hence my impatience.

I’ll probably be collecting more Gundam 00 doujin in 2009, but I won’t abandon my CG collections especially if they’re by my favourite circles.

p.s/ My finals starts tomorrow and ends this Monday. Just a little bit more! XD

I scanlated a few pages that I find really amusing too (scroll down for the pages, or hit ‘read more’ if you’re on the index page).

Continuation of some sorts after Perfect Mission, as promised. Some more crack to brighten up the day~ This short but sweet doujinshi contains the following cracky situations:

• In a desperate attempt to get Tamaki to stop regarding himself and Zero as ‘True Friend’, Lelouch geasses him “We’re not true friends!’ Tamaki went “Ah, sorry…” and then to Lelouch’s misery he went “We’re cute friends, aren’t we?! Yay! Yay!” Seems like geass couldn’t get him to stop
• Sayoko didn’t only arrange Lelouch’s date with those many girls and Shirley, but also with Suzaku, using the perfect imitation of smitten!Lelouch. Rolo insisted it was too much and that Lelouch wasn’t like that, but Lelouch felt threatened because Sayoko knew him TOO WELL if she could imitate him in that way
• Rolo and Suzaku got all angsty after Lelouch and Shirley got the best couple on Cupid’s Day. Suzaku’s despair was even worse than Rolo, to his surprise.
• Lelouch dreamt that on Cupid’s Day, the best couple was himself and Suzaku.
• Moe!CC tried to act like a ‘proper female slave’ and invited Lelouch to take a bath with her. Lelouch simply said “You’re not a child anymore, get in by yourself.” CC was awed, having this kind of master for the first time. Lelouch was actually just not interested. Quote: “Women’s bodies have no meaning” XD
• Remember Turn 17 and the infamous shrine scene? When Lelouch thought Suzaku was betraying him yet again, he firmly told Suzaku that from that point onwards, they’d truly break up XD (”Zekkou da!”) And Suzaku went “No! Just not that!”. Apparently, he mentioned that it was fine before this with all the I hate you’s and ex-friends thingie, but he just won’t accept breaking up. Haha… Poor Kanon had to deal with the melodrama of the situation, calling a reinforcement of 50 Britannian foot soldiers to deal with the stupid couple (who were currently kissing, btw)

You’ll be seeing me ranting about this circle most of the time because it’s my favourite (their Tyki x Allen is awesome too).

This doujinshi has cracky shounen-ai stuff involving:

• Rounds!Suzaku yelling “How does it feel to be kissed by the Emperor’s Knight, huh, Lelouch?!” when Lelouch was fast asleep
• Suzaku dressing Lelouch up in bikini thong in an attempt to humiliate him while he was asleep (while trying to assure himself that yes, he hated his guts)
• The intelligence squad getting killed by Rolo for complaining to Viletta about how they couldn’t see ‘the good scenes of the target (Lelouch)’ because Rolo was always around
• Diethard totally fanboying Zero (and making hand gestures like he was… m… never mind)
• Xingke saying “You’re really a girl!” after ripping Lelouch’s Zero suit to shreds (which earned him a shrill “I’m a guy!!” and “I thought you were about to kill me!” from Lelouch)
• Gino getting the first and biggest shock of his life
• SuzaLulu reunion in Turn 5 turned happy-honey reunion and causing Viletta to choke *_*

Next will be the continuation, Wonderful Mission (Turn 6 - Turn 19).

Doujin Overload 2008

Oh, dear… I’ve been hacked and denied access for a few weeks. Now that things are setted, I can go about updating this blog. I miss it so much ~_~

I seriously didn’t expect my second semester of 2008 would be so hectic. That, plus the storm and costant rain here in Auckland which caused everything to be so gloomy. The sky is clear as I’m typing this entry, but I can still hear the sky rumbling.

This is a looooong overdue entry about the event I attended on… er… July 27. Yes, so long ago ~_~

The wind was pretty strong that day, and being the idiot that I was, I didn’t bother to check the weather services. It turned out that last Saturday recorded the worse storm in the last decade, which resulted in three deaths and a crap load of damages. But anyway, I went to the event with Mira and Kaara (the latter joined us a bit later) after mine and Mira’s scheduled meeting with our course coordinator, Sheryl. When we reached Mercure Hotel, we were almost frozen.

There were several cosplayers at the entrance; Kuchiki Rukia mulling over her pink handphone got me gigling before I went through the door to see the works on display and on sale by the exhibitor.

Because of the Bird - Summary & Review

I’m really happy because my Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi and some other doujinshis are on their way. I’ll be getting them latest by this Friday, I think. And I’m in the process of scanning some doujinshis, but for the time being, I just want to rant about this Code Geass doujinshi which arrived in my mailbox yesterday. Why? Because it’s just so awesome!

The Japanese title for this doujinshi is written inside the book (Sono Tori no Sei De), and it’s 76 pages including cover. I was first drawn to this title because of the circle (Classic Milk+Peace and Alien) and the fact that Suzaku’s wearing his goddamn Knight of Rounds uniform. Pre-R2 stories are really interesting to read! Angst and dark romance, just the way I like it.

So, after being promoted to the 7th rank in the Knight of Rounds, (Lord) Suzaku became the talk of the palace because while he had Zero under his chains (literally and figuratively speaking), he had yet to kill him. People around him were talking, wondering why he didn’t kill Zero. Charles then summoned Suzaku and told him to do with Zero as he liked.

S: Do… what I like?
C: Kill him or let him live, it’s your choice.

Suzaku himself was shocked at the ‘order’ given to him, but returned to his room nonetheless. I find it intriguing that he kept Lelouch chained in his room at one of the corners. Eyes bound by bandages, hands and legs bound to metal chains hammered into the walls, Lelouch tried to eat the meal presented to him. Having just entered the room, Suzaku coldly told him where the tray was, “A bit more to the left.”

Shirley accusing Lelouch of being a woman is one thing, Lelouch and Suzaku’s lame (and totally not creative) naming sense for their sons is another. Honestly, Little Lulu (Chibi Lulu. Reminds us of Chibi Usa in Sailor Moon, no?) and Junior?? What the hell, you guys?

Little Lulu calls his parents ‘Haha-ue’ and ‘Chichi-ue’ while Junior calls his parents ‘Otou-san’ and ‘Okaa-san’. What a difference in the degree of politeness XD

When Jr. said he’s going to marry Little Lulu and got told not to, Little Lulu was confused. “I’m… a boy. Eh? But Haha-ue is a man too…”.  Narrator: This is the first time Little Lulu learns about how some things are better left unsaid.

He even fantasised all kind of romantic things a couple can do at such festivals. Kanda was left to wonder Allen’s mental health when his boyfriend kept daydreaming and making weird expression.

I swear, Lavi, Lenalee and Reever were ganging up on Allen. They kept showing up whenever something was about to happen. And when Allen got drunk?

We get a VERY cranky Allen. Allen Walker + interruptions + UST = Very Naughty and Evil Allen XD

And there’s a very short extra at the end. Lavi dared to ask Allen if his hair ‘down there’ was also white O_o Haha~

Suzaku got bullied again at school, and Lelouch was pissed off when he saw what was done to Suzaku. Suzaku was resigned to the fact that he’s still Japanese despite being an Honorary Britannian, and tried to get Lelouch to not go on a rampage on his behalf. Lelouch told him to call his name from that day onwards if he gets bullied again. Suzaku thought the way Lelouch acted resembled a cat.

The end is really cute. Suzaku asked Lelouch to try saying “Nya~”, and of course, he got told off.

Story 2

“…Fall to the bottom of irreversible sins.”
｢引き返せない罪の底へ…堕ちる｣

Lelouch was troubled by Suzaku’s role in his rebellion against Britannia as he contemplated his part as Zero. They haven’t met for a while, and Suzaku missed him~

Anyway, if you’ve somehow stumbled upon my LJ, you might have noticed a trend of craziness I’ve fallen into. It’s genuine proof that I really don’t know how to handle money wisely. Yes, I’m guilty as charged. I just thought that since I apparently spend less than $500 per month on food, I can afford to spend some money on my obsessions. I don’t do other kind of shopping, anyway. I have enough clothes for the time being (I think). It’s sadder that I won’t be going anywhere for this upcoming Winter Break when most people are going away, so wth? Haha… I’ll let you guys know when these items arrive~
