Junjou Romantica 2 - Episode 4
口は災いの元 ( Out of the Mouth Comes Evil )
Lit: The mouth is the source of disaster
Yawns… I’m feeling extremely sleepy for God knows why. I thought I already had enough rest these past few days, but apparently my body is trying to catch up to all the rest that I lost during the hectic months I was tortured by streams after streams of assignments and courseworks. That aside, time for episode 4! And Junjou Egoist :3
Bittersweet fluffy angst is how I’ve been describing JE, and this episode is no exception. Nowaki just doesn’t realise that by calling Hiroki ‘Hiro-san’, he’s on a whole different level compared to everyone else. It doesn’t matter if it sounds less romantic, but hey, you’re special~ And I bet Hiroki would be 100% more flustered if you were to call him just ‘Hiroki’. For me, it would bring your cuteness down a few notch (don’t ask me why).
Eh… Why the heck was I addressing Nowaki when I type O_o?
Anyways, Nowaki’s wild imagination is fully animated, and it KILLED me with serious bouts of laughter.
Junjou Egoist and the classic of classics ‘catch me if you can’ + ‘ahahahahaha~’ scene. (Now I can never listen to Abarai Renji’s voice the same way again *__*)
Er, ahem… I don’t blame Nowaki for feeling insecure every once in a while. He’s so quiet it probably hurt sometimes. It’s only a little bit funny that Junjou Egoist walks on the longest timeline but takes longer to untangle. Guh, egoists… The end scene below is supposed to be sweet/romantic, but I seriously LOLed into my pillow.
“But Hiro-san is always more beautiful“. alskdjfhg NOWAKI~~~ How much sweeter can you be
Go watch if you haven’t already :3 And for a weekly JR poll….

EDIT: club_vogue released the scanlation :3
IT’S OVER!!! THE NAKED TRUTH ARC IS OVER!!
I don’t know if I should feel sad or happy right now. I’ve been waiting for this arc to be over for like… forever! Now that it’s over and done with, I really am going to miss all the ‘desperately waiting for the next chapter because 2 months is a long wait’ routine. But but but!!
HANDS UP WHO THINKS THE CONCLUSION IS WAAAAAAAAAAAY TOO SHORT!! D:< I know I do.
Yamane-sensei spared us the angst of Akihito really getting shot. Asami was relieved to see the bullet isn’t dislodged in Akihito’s body. and here I was hoping for some bitersweet angst. In his shocked state, Akihito didn’t notice Asami holding him at first. But when he noticed (T for Takaba, because Asami already has the A):
T: Asami… Why… Why…
T: WHY DIDN’T YOU COME SOONER!
T: I WAITED FOR YOU!! I WAITED FOR SIGNS OF YOU!!
A: MY BAD…
T: I… Nothing but you… I did nothing but wait for you…
Oh my God….
Akihito shielded Fei Long from Asami. He didn’t want both of them to go on having grudges on each other, and wanted all the rivalry between them to stop. They needed to come to an understanding. Fei Long, for my absolute relief, was sincere when he said he kind-of fell for Akihito :3
And Yoh… YOH! I think I can hope for a Yoh x Fei properly now?
How come Mikhail got such an unimportant closure, though? I thought for sure he’d at least be injured. He just looked totally bored at the end.
M: It’s the end already? How boring…
Mikhail, can I butcher you?
The long awaited Asami x Akihito smex is so sweet beyond words. Asami was thinking of Takaba, and how he definitely wouldn’t want to let go of him anymore. His thoughts are sweeeeeeeetttt (too much for a yakuza):
A: Takaba Akihito…
A: I wish (hope) you’d love only me.
And the end words?
T: The existence of this man standing before my eyes is too large
T: I can’t go back to my previous self anymore
T: But…
T: I’ll be fine with whatever happens after this
T: …Because I can’t think of anything else but ‘Asami’.
Okay. I’ll go calm down now. In the meantime:

Takahashi Misaki’s predicament in
Junjou Romantica 2 - Episode 3
三度目の正直
I waited for this to be anime-fied XD I figured I should write about this before I go and prepare myself for today’s presentation (and one linguistic assignment ;_;). I’d forget otherwise. I really like the episode titles starting from the first episode. They’re so interconnected in a good way, or a bad way if you happen to be Misaki. What happens once will happen twice, followed by never twice without thrice and now the third time’s the charm.
Misaki tried to contact Haruhiko about the mountain of strawberry thingies, and couldn’t get through. Usagi being Usagi, simply refused to cooperate and tell him how to reach Haruhiko.
Senpai makes his appearance again, with a premonition of something definitely not so nice when he said, “You think that I actually like Usami-sensei?”

“The one I like is Misaki”
Quit it, Senpai. We all know what is actually going on in your head and we’re not amused.
Haruhiko practically kidnapped Misaki right after class just when Misaki was grumbling to himself… “And the problem is…”. Perfect timing indeed. The good thing about the whole kidnapping thing is that we get to hear about Usagi’s lonely childhood. How indeed did he grow up with that foul mouth O_o
Eh, actually what I was waiting for is the part where Misaki saw the maids and the butler of the Usami mansion, and went “Is this really Japan?!” when he tried to get out of Usagi’s old room.
And yay for possessive Usagi :3 Sibling rivalry over the same guy is just hillarious, both of you. I only wish there’d be some sort of brotherly interaction between them that can be interpreted as ’secretly hidden care’ or someting instead of just plain “I don’t like you” or “Get out of my business”. Maybe I just love siblings who are at each other’s neck while they actually care about each other DEEP down, though they may be in denial about it.
We now have everyone ALL over Misaki. It brings me to a rather cute question about Misaki’s manliness (or the lack of it).
p.s/ New Viewfinder Naked Truth chapter today! *is giddy*

Released two days ago, on October 24th. This episode is a little bit more smexy than the first, I don’t know if it’s because of the complaints I heard they got after the release of the first OVA.
If you don’t mind watching it LQ, try searching for the episode on Youtube or Veoh, if it the uploads have not yet been removed or flagged, that is. The server is going ‘blehh’ on me, so I can’t upload. And I don’t thnk my router can last 4 to 6 hours without being reset.
Omake card that comes with the 2nd DVD, with Yamane-sensei’s signature. You can see Al happily and cutely drawling out “Fundoshi~”.
“Nipponichi~”
Erm, so we’re back to the OVA. It continues where the first OVA left off. Ranmaru being Ranmaru, got left behind by his group and wandered his way around. Getting hit on by the thugs, vandalising someone’s car and walking around in his revealing yukata, Al finally found him.
And went all starry eyed.
It seems like Ranmaru is always in the middle of trouble whenever Al finds him. Why can’t ukes be the ones to save the semes for once? At least Ranmaru is a manly uke~

I have no idea Ranmaru’s eyes look so not Japanese when closed up. If Al isn’t taller than him, I bet he could seme the smaller ukes
I like this episode better not because of the smex, mind you, but because this one is funnier. Maybe it’s because they’re already familiar with each other and the crack comes out more naturally. Al and his Japanese fetish, Ranmaru and his tsundere talk and action, Gondou and his denial (”No, no, I’m not like that!”), the yakuza members and their “Bocchan!!”, and the whole hilarious married-couple affair thingie. I just wish there could be more *__*
This OVA shall cure the wait for the next Naked Truth chapter of Viewfinder. *sigh*
More info later~

Takahashi Misaki-kun’s Strawberry Life~ in
Junjou Romantica 2 - Episode 2
二度ある事は三度ある
What happens twice is likely to happen thrice, just like the saying “Never Twice WIthout Thrice”. Misaki’s bad luck just keep coming. And in the anime verse, we’re just about to see how far his Usamimone (Usami + Pheromone) would bring him. As much as I’d like to watch Egoist right now, I want more of Romantica’s story, not because they’re the main focus but because of the Usami-family conflict. No, I’m totally not biased towards Haruhiko’s seiyuu XD
This episode is where Usagi-san starts hinting at Misaki about how Misaki haven’t yet tell him he loves him (too many him confuses me).
“I haven’t gotten an ‘I like you’ from you yet”
I’m so waiting for Misaki’s nonchalant confession in the ferris wheel, and his possesive “Usagi-san is MINE” towards his senpai.
Asahina is at least 10 times more charming in the anime than he is in the manga!
Apologising on Isaka’s behalf, as per usual. I swear, Shungiku-sensei, I’m seeing a pattern here. Something like Asahina’s one-sided love for Isaka… Isaka’s long time one-sided love for Haruhiko… Geh. Give us a side story already. Hehe…
And we come back to the main point of the title: the premonition of Misaki’s bad luck with the Usamis. Haruhiko has now made his moves on Misaki. His way of showing affection is to shower his object of affection with materials (guh, rich bastard!), hence the mountains of strawberry-related items sent Misaki’s way at the end of the episode. All just because Misaki said he likes strawberry, though at that point Misaki only meant the strawberry cake, I’m sure.
Favourite scene, not counting the smex part:
“I think I’m going to steal you away from Akihiko
I like you”
Hard to believe that they’re half brothers, with that same look and same tone and manner of speaking. He even sounds cooly romantic. The wonderful power of seiyuus…
Aaand a poll time for this episode! Cast your vote, darlings~
Code Geass R2 Turn 15 Rant & Review
Angry Suzaku Is One Hot Suzaku~
- Lulu hid behind Shinkirou (while thinking of a way to Geass Charles) to prevent direct eye contact with with Charles, afraid that he would be Geassed again. Haha…
- Lelouch’s way of trying to Geass Charles (”I, Lelouch vi Britannia order you to drop dead lol die!” (TRYING to is the keyword) is absolutely awesome! Reminds me of Kanda (DGM) when he faced Skin Boric
- CHARLES REALLY IS IMMORTAL!!!!! Goddammit, I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! His marking is on his palm instead of on the forehead. Geez… Not like it would ruin you already ruined image or something…
- VV was so cute when they were young, but I didn’t get to see little Charles. I blame Sunrise fully for obscuring little Charles from view. Or wait, was that Charles?
- Back to CC’s contract with Lulu and her wish… Her wish, is for her existence to end (?). I was annoyed to the extent where I got slack-jawed when CC said Lulu’s reason for living and whatnot were all twisted by her - that he had been fooled all this time. No shit. This is actually the same thing that the nun who gave young CC the power of Geass said to her when her Geass progressed to the point where the marking in the left eye spread to the other eye permanently. Young CC was annoyed that it’s been keeping her away from … her suitors… (I’d be annoyed by that eye too. Like of course!) and wanted to end the contract. And the nun… went all crazy and blurted out “You’ve been fooled!”. I was like O_o…
- C.C: “V.V… Did you like Marianne?” <<< Dun dun dun…. Can we shoot down the theory of VV hating Marianne now? He looked (and sounded) so sincere…
- Suzaku… didn’t get to drug Kallen. Phew… He was slapped (like many of us expected Kallen to do), which is REALLY good. Well, he pushed her down and tried to drug her, but then Kallen whined “Onii-chan”… Well, yay! Thank God the spoiler about him accidentally getting a refrain shot while struggling with Kallen didn’t come true. I’d be annoyed if he remembers Euphie at this point
Suzaku just smashed the thing to the floor. - Suzaku… is now conviced that Lulu IS Zero. He went to school looking all hot and bothered (squee!). No Rolo in sight, no Viletta, Geassed intelligent team telling him they didn’t know where Lelouch Lamperouge is… Of course he’d know right away something was wrong. I damn sure wuould too if I was in his shoes. Aha~ (Lloyd’s style)
- NUNNALLY IS THE ULTIMATE LIE-DETECTOR!!!! She can tell that people are lying if she holds their hands and hear them answer her questions. Har har har… She tried to do the same to Suzaku, but Suzaku retracted his hand REALLY fast before she could catch him lying. “
- Suzaku to Nunnally: “I won’t lie to you”… BIIIIIGG LIIEEE!!! Meh.
- Nunnally to Suzaku: “You’re the same as Onii-sama” <<< When he pulled his hand away.
- Nunnally to Romeyer: “The Governess (Governor-General)… is ME.” <<<< Another WIN factor of Turn 15~
- Nina’s Nuke has been tested… and proven effective. Schneizel and the rest of the team congratulated her. Well, I hate that the Nuke spoiler sounds like it’s becoming true.
- Schneizel to Nina: “You’re really a genius”. <<<< Dammit Schneizel, you just keep brainwashing the crazy girl!
- Viletta and Ougi met, had a talk, mainly Viletta asking him why would he save an officer (herself) of the Britannian army. Sayoko interrupted (well, Viletta was technically pointing the gun at Ougi), got into a duel with Viletta. Ougi tried to stop them, protected Viletta and fell down the cliff… Viletta went after him. (I so love OugiViletta!!!) To be continued, for this couple…
- Rolo freaked out. He finally noticed Lulu was nowhere to be found.
- Rolo fed the ‘This is Zero’s order’ and ‘This place is the Britannian secret base operation’ shit to the OoBK members, who are now having HUGE doubts about Zero.
- Jeremiah is one compassionate hottie man, and I’m a happy fangirl~
- NO CORNELIA!!!!!!! T____T
- Lulu to CC: “Your true wish… I know what it is.” <<<< Evil cliffhanger!
- CC REALLY LOST HER MEMORY!!! She became the girl she was before she became immortal.
Code Geass R2 Turn 14 Rant & Review
Is it possible to love Suzaku but wanting to torture him until he can no longer speak at the same time?
I’m at loss for words, and I can’t even comment properly on the sudden battle between Lulu plus some random OotBK members against the Geass Cult.
I mean…
HOW DARE SUZAKU FEEDS SOME BULLSHITS TO KALLEN THAT THE ONE WHO KILLED SHIRLEY WAS LELOUCH?!!
And get that refrain out of the way, you sneaky little @$#%TWAsdadr@#*!
Small conclusions/impressions:
- Rolo admitted to killing Shirley… Brave, kid. Really brave, or maybe I should say ‘thoughtless’ instead?
- I have to give Lulu lots of credits for managing to appear calm after Shirley’s death, unlike the mess Suzaku seemed to put himself in after Euphie died.
- When did Lulu actually have the set installed in front of the entrance? Even I thought he was still in Ashford O_o
- Is Suzaku completely evil, or is he completely desperate to go against Lulu? I love him and all, but for him to persuade Kallen this way… Feeding Kallen the bullshit that Lulu killed Shirley is one thing, but to drug her with refrain is another… WTF Suzaku?!!!
- I think we were wrong when we thought VV expected Jeremiah to go against him. Apparently, he was shocked to find Lelouch at the other end of the line when the call connected. And if his “Jeremiah, even you too…!!” means anything, then he really didn’t expect this.
- Took VV a while to notice the one in Vincent was Rolo.
- Charles’ “My son Lelouch! The time has come!’ comment now convinced me that the stage for the finale had been planned all along… Ugh.
- The little kids with Geass ability that we saw in the scans before is <3 They called Rolo ‘Rolo-oniichan’~ Now I really don’t want Rolo to die, though Lulu was ready to detonate Vincent in order to trap/kill VV. Too bad Rolo killed the kids~
- LOL at Toudou and Chiba in the bedroom ~__~
- CC’s apology to the cult members before destroying them, saying they were all in the mess now because of her ’sin’. Needs Turn 15 now!
- VV, with his hair in a mess, looks so much like Clovis.
- Bartley x Clovis should be made canon (j/k!)
Takes a deep breath to calm down…

I… don’t know what to say about this chapter.
I’ve always known that Allen is somehow related to the 14th. I even suspected that Allen might have been the reincarnation of the 14th. Well, that alone is cruel enough.
But to be told straight to your face that you’re someone who have someone else’s memories implanted into your head so that you can be the host for that someone else’s revival into the mortal world… is too cruel.
Oh, Cross… Why, pray tell, didn’t you choose better wordings? All this while, Allen’s been angsting about his life being shaped by someone else’s hands all along. To be told that everything’s all a part of a plan…
… is just plain cruel.
Is this some kind of a foreshadow that Allen would someday fully become the 14th? What would become of his memories of being just Allen, then?
The cure to my frustration in this chapter is Lavi’s hotness. No, seriously.

I’m really happy because my Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi and some other doujinshis are on their way. I’ll be getting them latest by this Friday, I think. And I’m in the process of scanning some doujinshis, but for the time being, I just want to rant about this Code Geass doujinshi which arrived in my mailbox yesterday. Why? Because it’s just so awesome!
The Japanese title for this doujinshi is written inside the book (Sono Tori no Sei De), and it’s 76 pages including cover. I was first drawn to this title because of the circle (Classic Milk+Peace and Alien) and the fact that Suzaku’s wearing his goddamn Knight of Rounds uniform. Pre-R2 stories are really interesting to read! Angst and dark romance, just the way I like it.
So, after being promoted to the 7th rank in the Knight of Rounds, (Lord) Suzaku became the talk of the palace because while he had Zero under his chains (literally and figuratively speaking), he had yet to kill him. People around him were talking, wondering why he didn’t kill Zero. Charles then summoned Suzaku and told him to do with Zero as he liked.
S: Do… what I like?
C: Kill him or let him live, it’s your choice.
Suzaku himself was shocked at the ‘order’ given to him, but returned to his room nonetheless. I find it intriguing that he kept Lelouch chained in his room at one of the corners. Eyes bound by bandages, hands and legs bound to metal chains hammered into the walls, Lelouch tried to eat the meal presented to him. Having just entered the room, Suzaku coldly told him where the tray was, “A bit more to the left.”

Ah, how long has it been since I last wrote anything about DGM? I kind of miss my darling Kanda already XP So the last few filler chapters had been so amusing, but I really want them to finish with the the darn ghost already. It would be so amusing to see the anime version of the ghost filler, though (and I shall wait patiently until that episode comes, IF they decide to retain it). And back to chapter 165…
Yay! The story is finally going somewhere
I didn’t notice that they were wearing their new Exorcist uniforms until Johnny mentioned it. After getting a good look at the uniform, I had to say that it somehow reminded me of Hogwarts? The badge placement was even in the right place.
I’m going to miss their previous sexy uniform ~_~
Allen is on his way to mastering the art of controlling the Noah’s ark. Him, along with Johnny, Komui, Lenalee (O_o I almost typed Nunnally, wth?!) and a few others went ahead to the new HQ which looked more like a haunted castle. Well, the last one was a Pisa tower wannabe, so I guess it’s excusable (though it also kind of reminds me of Crowley’s old mansion in one way or another).
So things were going fine… until Levellier (sorry, I forgot how to spell this Hitler-wannabe’s name) showed up with his Hitler-ish smirk (which failed, I must say). Now we should wait for him to raise his hand to the air and say “HAIL THE BLACK ORDER!!”
Oops… I just went off tangent. But hey, this guy is so annoying that it’s just so much fun to poke fun at him!!
Poor Allen got childraped tied against his will, and just when I was wondering where the hell they were taking Allen to, the guard suddenly said Cross was behind the door. Huh? Cross? He needed to be bound to meet Cross? And he even need to change his clothes! I mean, hey, he was wearing the minimal amount of clothes to meet the Cross Marian??
Oh dear… Out with the mystery already, Cross. Your riddles are unbecoming (not that you are, anyway. But I’ll give you credits because of your good looks).
And is it just me, or did Timcanpy just grew AGAIN?
Hmm….
p.s/ We got to see Lavi and Grumpy Ol’ Panda-jiji Bookman in this chapter. But where is my Kanda? WHERE ARE YUUUUUUU?? (pun intended)
